The game ended with a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the 8th inning by Lane Schurger to win it for the Diamond Dawgz.

However the play of the year, and potentially ever in our league happened in the bottom of the 7th when Joel Stevens of Doug & The Slugs leaped up the centre field fence to take away what would have been a walk-off homerun.

It was a great final series with the Dawgz winning the best of 3 in two games however it could have gone either way as game 1 was a 6 run difference and last night was just 1 run difference!

Thanks Steph from the Dawgz and Glen from Doug & The Slugs for participating in the league again this year and running their respective teams!

Hey Everyone, our schedule for this upcoming season has just been released! Check with your team reps to ensure they have received it! Here is to hoping everyone has a greats season!

Exciting times, as weather pending (Cross our fingers) we are getting started at the beginning of MAY! Teams please keep a look out in your email as the schedule will be sent out before the end of April.

Join us on April 2nd at Kinetic Park in the Stampede Room at 7:00pm for our Annual General Meeting! The meeting is scheduled from 7:00pm – 8:30pm.

** We are still looking for a couple members to help us out on the board this year ** We are looking for:

• Secretary: (The secretary shall maintain the records and minutes in writing of all proceedings which take place at meetings of The League, or arrange for the same. He/she shall be responsible for maintaining the register of members of The League)
• Member at Large: (The Member at Large sits on the board and attend all board meeting to provide us with feedback as well as other ideas to help improve the league)
